Q. What can I do on the app?
A. You can use the app to:

Q. Is the app available in Spanish?
A. Yes! The UnitedHealthcare Individual and Family websites are available in Spanish and our app is too. Just make sure your phone’s language setting is Spanish to get that experience.
Q. How do I find the app?
A. Just search for UnitedHealthcare on the App Store® or Google Play®. It’s that easy. There are a few UHC apps available, but the one you want is called UnitedHealthcare.
Q. How do I sign in?
A. Sign in with the same username and password you use for myuhc.com/exchange.
Q. What do I need to create an account?
A. Creating a new account is simple. Just have your Member ID number handy and the app will walk you through the steps.
Q. Do I have to sign in each time?
A. Yes, to protect your information, you’ll have to sign in each time you use the app. The app automatically signs you out after 20 minutes of inactivity to keep your information secure.
Q. Does Face ID® work on this app?
A. Yes, Face ID on compatible iOS devices can be used for fast and easy sign in. Fingerprint sign-in is also available on compatible iOS and Android devices.
Q. How do I find a provider using the app?
A. Click on Find Care at the bottom of the app. You can search for primary and specialist providers, virtual providers, urgent care, and mental health providers.
Q. How do I find a pharmacy using the app?
A. You can search for in-network pharmacies in the Prescription part of the Me tab.
Q. How can I tell if a specific provider is in-network or out-of-network?
A. When you view provider details, you will see In-Network Provider indicating the provider is in-network. The provider directory can change without notice, so you should always call the provider to confirm they’re in your network before getting care.
Q. Does the app work without an internet connection?
A. No, to keep your information secure and private, the app requires an internet connection to sign in and access your health plan data. Your ID cards can be made available offline.
Q. How do I make my health plan ID cards available offline?
A. You can make your ID card available offline by going to the Menu, going into Settings under Profile, then going into Save ID Cards Offline and toggling the cards you want available without an internet connection. You can also save your health plan ID card to your digital wallet for offline access. | | |
